Institutional Leaders

Would you like a sounding board from someone who’s walked in your shoes as you tackle an institutional problem?

How We Can Help

Do you need help enacting new government policies? Or help aligning what you deliver with workforce needs? Does your own data show that students are not being as successful as you’d like them to be? Are you worried about failure, frenzied & harried by not knowing what to do next? Are you feeling isolated and would like a sounding board outside of your institution to help you move forwards?  We can help.

I have walked in your shoes and understand how isolating your position can be. I will be a partner and you won’t have to face this alone. I care deeply about student success and employee well-being. In addition, I have a network of partners to consult if it’s not an issue I’ve faced before.

Our Guarantee

  • I will only accept you as a client if I can add value and help you solve your problem.
  • You will be an active participant in developing the solution to your problem.
  • You will come away with a plan that is customized to how your institution works – uses your language, your processes, your institution’s culture and structure.
  • You will get more value for your money using us, a small consulting firm, rather than a larger consulting firm.

Monarch Engagement Process

  1. A free 30-minute conversation about your challenge, to ensure that I can add value and help you.
  2. I will develop a proposal, grounded in your budget, to determine what we can do together to solve your problem.  We develop clear timelines and deliverables.
  3. I will review the written proposal with you in person.
  4. Once you accept the proposal, we provide project updates on an agreed upon cadence. We closely coordinate delivery of all sessions with you.
  5. You will receive deliverables and participate in session discussions throughout the project. We leave every session with an action plan.
  6. We continue to be in a relationship, and I celebrate your future successes with you!

What Success Looks Like

  • You will have an action plan for implementing the solution and/or product or resource to use with your team, customized for your organization.
  • You will have confidence that you have looked at the problem from a variety of angles and are tackling the next most important thing first.
  • You will avoid project failure and repercussions from not seeing the big picture, not thinking all the way through the problem.
  • You will engage with a thought partner and sounding board before taking a solution to stakeholders like faculty, staff, and boards of trustees.
  • You will gain buy-in by engaging the appropriate stakeholders in the process.
  • You will be able to articulate why the chosen path was taken.
